BRX team springs into action after natural disaster

In January, parts of Texas suffered devastating destruction from an EF-3 Tornado. The tornado demolished hundreds of homes and businesses and knocked out power to the area for days. Four Brixmor properties also sustained damage. We are extremely proud of the Brixmor team’s response. Senior Property Manager Charlie Clifton mobilized crews immediately to assess damages and begin the cleanup process. The rest of the Houston team showed its support as well making phone calls, setting up vendors and collecting damage reports. All tenants were able to re-open 4 to 5 days after the tornado. The team showed support for the community by partnering with Kroger and passing out free meals to those affected. They also delivered lunch to both the Deer Park Police and Fire Departments to show their appreciation.
