Acting like owners! Maria Pace, VP, Marketing, recently took a trip to Dallas, TX. While she was in town, she got a chance to explore some of our local properties. Maria visited Arboretum Village, acquired by Brixmor in 2022, a 95k+ SF Tom Thumb-anchored shopping center located in the Lakewood neighborhood of Dallas. The center has mix of national & local tenants including PetSmart, Ace Hardware and White Rock Alehouse & Brewery. Significant retail development in the Lakewood neighborhood has been attractive to the affluent and well-educated dense trade area surrounding the center. This neighborhood center is adjacent to the White Rock Creek Trail, a major recreational draw in the area and is 10 minutes east of Greenville Avenue, a major restaurant and entertainment corridor. According to Creditntell, Arboretum Village drew more than 2.2M annual visits in 2023 and ranks in the top 5% of similar-sized centers in the state.
