Dining and Entertainment Destination in Orlando, Florida
Pointe Orlando is a premier outdoor dining and entertainment destination located next to the country’s second largest convention center and surrounded by 46,000 hotel rooms on Orlando’s primary tourism corridor.
Phase 1 of the redevelopment has improved connectivity throughout the center, creating exciting gathering places, enhancing the sense of place, adding artistic experiential elements and elevating tenant visibility.
A new 100-foot passageway, known as The Link, has been constructed through the center of the project, improving first-floor connectivity from the center’s street front to the entrance of Main Event Entertainment. The Link features lit ceilings, artistic floor patterns and retail storefronts that pull the guest through a visually captivating pathway. Plus, an escalator e added near The Link entrance further enhances access to restaurants, entertainment and nightlife options on the second level.
The center’s two valet areas have been upgraded to create a sense of arrival with an elegant valet canopy, featuring a glass overhang, column up lighting and signage, where guests can wait under cover for their vehicles.
In the primary courtyard, a new gathering space has been created by replacing a former pond with colorful seating, playful shade structures and new upscale lighting. The corners of the property have been reimagined with a sculptural centerpiece that draws the eye and marks the project’s presence to pedestrians and vehicles at the two prominent corners on International Drive.
The overall project has enhanced the center’s façade with dramatic lighting in lieu of standard functional lighting, new wayfinding signage, upgraded landscaping, environmental graphics and modern site amenities.
