Hillcrest Market Place is a Publix-anchored open-air shopping destination featuring a strong lineup of national retailers, including Marshalls, Petco, Hibbett Sports, Chico’s, and NGC Cinema. The center draws an estimated 9,000+ trips per day and 3.3M visits per year and is in close proximity to Wofford College and Converse College, with a combined enrollment of 3,000+ students.
The project repurposed a former Stein Mart into a 25,000 square foot Ross Dress for Less (relocated and right-sized within the center) and an 11,000-square-foot Five Below. The former Office Depot and existing Ross Dress for Less have been reconfigured to accommodate a 57,000 square foot Hobby Lobby and additional retail space.
Additionally, the project included the remerchandising of existing outparcel buildings, the construction of multiple new outparcel buildings, and enhancements to landscaping and signage.
