Ryan Guheen

Ryan Guheen has served as Senior Vice President, Re/Development at Brixmor Property Group since May 2015.

Ryan is passionate about small local teams working across functions and disciplines. "We collaborate with colleagues, neighbors and community leaders to develop and actualize a strong pipeline of reinvestment projects.” Adapting the open-air format is key. “As demand for our well-located portfolio continues to evolve and grow, our redevelopment team stays at the forefront of adapting the flexible open-air format to attract innovative uses critical to the competitiveness, relevance, and vibrancy of our centers.”

Prior to joining Brixmor, Ryan served as Senior Vice President of Asset Management at Olshan Properties, leading asset management, development, leasing, and property operations across a diverse national portfolio. He also held positions as Development Manager and Project Coordinator at Kimco Realty, managing all aspects of shopping center redevelopment.

Ryan is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and sits on the Urban Development and Mixed-Use Council. He graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in economics from Santa Clara University where he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society.

Ryan resides in Manhattan with his wife Tara, who also works in real estate. Outside of their professional pursuits, they enjoy traveling and visiting family on the West Coast of the United States and Canada.
