Helane G. Stein

Helane has served in her current role since July 2024, when she was named Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer.  She served as Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer since joining Brixmor Property Group in July 2015. Her team is responsible for defining and executing the technology vision and strategy, ensuring robust systems and agile and secure infrastructure to support and enhance business operations.

Prior to Brixmor, Helane served as Vice President of Information Technology for Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT), and she has served in multiple management, senior consultant and programming positions at the healthcare technology division of Siemens.

Helane earned a Master of Business Administration/Healthcare Administration from Saint Joseph’s University and a Bachelor of Science in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and a board member for the Real Estate Cyber Consortium. She has received numerous accolades and recognition from leading publications and organizations for innovative use of technology, including the Realcomm Julie Devine Digital Impact Award and the HMG Strategy Global Leadership Institute Award.

Helane enjoys scuba diving, pickleball, live theater and is devoted to animal rescue.
