This year's 5th annual Music 6s event at Paradise Pavilions in West Bend, WI was a huge success! We had over 17 community/tenant contributors to our raffle items and raised over $1500 to save the lives of Military and First Responders suffering from PTSD.
A big thank you to the local chapter of Music 6s for their amazing performance, and to the West Bend Fire Department, EMT, and Police Department for showing their support.
Music 6s is a non-profit organization dedicated to healing communities through the power of music. They provide free band equipment and lessons to active duty, veterans, first responders, and civilians referred by medical professionals.
Every participant receives lessons, instruments, and group/art therapy at no cost. After completing the program, they tour local venues like ours. Every band and solo artist at this event was a life saved through the healing power of camaraderie, community, and chords.
Special shout out to Nicole Robson and Miriam Velez for helping to organize the event. And hug thank you to David Alacron from MuniSupport and Tom Cashman from Site Services for their high energy, talents, and time.
