Brixmor centers host 179 electric vehicle charging stations across the country. In 2021, charges from these stations powered 7,180,472 miles – enough to drive to the moon and back 39 times! Adding electric vehicle charging stations to our centers is one of Brixmor’s key sustainability goals. Since 2011, Brixmor has installed charging stations at 53 of our centers, representing 13% of our portfolio. By 2025, Brixmor will increase the availability of EV charging stations to 25% our portfolio, giving our customers and our communities more ways to recharge at our centers.
